We seek a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our company and play a key role in automating and enhancing our infrastructure and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of, a passion for building, deploying, and managing reliable, scalable, and efficient systems. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, QA, and product managers, to deliver high-quality software rapidly.
Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Automation: Design, build, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to manage cloud resources.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Develop, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI to enable faster and reliable software deployment.
- Monitoring and Logging: Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog) to ensure system performance, uptime, and reliability.
- Configuration Management: Use configuration management tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Ansible) to manage and deploy applications and system configurations across environments.
Cloud Services Management: Provision, configure, and manage cloud services in AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Azure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost efficiency. - Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and compliance policies in development and production environments, including vulnerability scanning, firewall management, and data protection.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth software release processes and troubleshoot issues in production and non-production environments.
- Scripting and Automation: Write scripts (using Python, Bash, or PowerShell) to automate routine tasks, infrastructure maintenance, and deployments, optimizing workflows and reducing manual processes.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Deploy, manage, and scale applications in containers using Docker and Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, configurations, processes, and deployment procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and business continuity.
Requirements:-
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and cloud architecture best practices.
Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. - Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog).
- Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of network protocols, security practices, and firewall configurations.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
